Woman In Black

On Thursday, Miranda and I went to the theater to catch a showing of The Woman In Black. Having not seen a ‘proper’ play before i had only a vague idea of what to expect. Having read the plot i chose not to read too much into words like ‘chilling’ and ‘frightening’ as I couldn’t imagine a theatrical performance to execute words like these to any great extent. As i got fully immersed in the story within a story, my brain started ‘flowing’ with ideas. These mainly being visual elements but a few audio ideas peaked at certain points (being sat directly in front of a speaker i got the full impact of hollowed screams and discomforting thuds of a rocking chair).
